S89 Recovery not working - Finless 1.6

Hello,
i have Vega S89 with Finless 1.6 ROM. I wanted to update to oman latest stock FW but i cannot get into recovery mode. I tried using reboot app with reboot to recovery, i tried terminal command "reboot recovery" but it alway boots into android.
I also tried install Oman FW with SD card and reset button (AV toothpick method) but that doesnt work either, it still start booting finless android always.

Anyone have idea how to check whats wrong? Or what am i doing wrong? Thx.

I'm sure you are aware but just in case, remember to press the reset before turning power on and release as soon as you see "Tronsmart" on screen. good luck

i found the problem. On SDcard there was recovery.img file and it probably always tried to load that recovery file.
I have that recovery file from oman stock FW - http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...eedback-thread

but maybe its not for Trosmart s89 round box? Cause i tried open that recovery file in amlogic_tools - usb_burning_tool but it says that format is wrong (or something like that, refused to load img)



anyway i flashed Finless rom 2.1 and its great
