Hello I don't own the Meego, but most Intel PCs will have a BIOS setting for what to do after a loss of power. The settings will be something like, "Stay Off, Turn On, Last State", etc. There is a link to a video about the Meego's BIOS here. And one for the Pipo X7 here, it may give you some clues.

BTW Exercise caution when adjusting things in the BIOS, you can possibly brick your box. However, the "what to do after power loss" setting should not be very risky, if at all.

I seems to have bricked my meego.

I changed
State after G3 to S0 to S5

Don't do that, it will do nothing anymore. not even boot.
Led goes on, directly after power is put to it and then nothing.

I remember that I did something else different I did save and reset.

with releasing battery and don't really know what else I did I got it working again.

could get in to the bios , it started booting again but very slow ubuntu boot, still waiting.

Now windows boots again without an problem,
ubuntu not. worst case scenario I need to install Ubuntu again. should not be a problem.
Cost me only 3 days last time. :-)

As I said, I don't own one of these. Was that the BIOS setting the links showed? This matter has been discussed on one of the Pipo X7 threads.

Don't worry, the boot repair worked reasonably good.

After that the menu, and toolbar disappeared. Took me again 1 hour to get that back :-)
One advantage I learn a lot :-)

But everything working again.
