ROM Dump tool for Amlogic S802 devices (MX3)

There was one ROM DUmp tool for RK3288 devices, with we can dump the ROM from the device to computer.

Can any one please help me, how can we do the same with Amlogic MX3 device?

I don't think that such a program exists. It would be the first time I ever heard of an official recovery from a vender.
As I'm fairly sure your referring to TWRP. Sadly though this hasn't been ported to the 1G/8G MXIII.
2G/8G Users can use the M8 Version though.

Check the TWRP Thread (Its a STICKY IIRC)... Just note its for the 2G/8G Devices ONLY!! It WILL NOT WORK WITH 1G/8G Models Other then that everything you ever wanted to know and, gone ahead, and asked anyway is in that Thread. (On this Site BTW...)

Yes I agree it would be nice if... we had the ability to dump, either via TWRP, or CWM. Unfortunately that option such as it exists for the moment. Is ONLY for the S82 compatible Device List. In short 2G/8G Devices only. The versions of TWRP that currently exist for S802 Devices WILL NOT work on M82 (1G/8G) Devices.

If you launch it from the SD Card it'll hang ~5% IIRC. If you unlucky to actually replace the recovery. Then you could well brick the Device. This is what happens to me! Though I finally managed to recover it still took quite a while to fish though the misinformation (Like needlessly jumping Pins for example)

I'm gonna guess its down to the way the Partioin Map layed out on the 1G only having half the RAM. 'Cause otherwise the Hardware should be very similar. I posted a 109k4 1G/8G Firmware that that Thread a while back after I was invited to. But,even their I still waiting as well.

So again DO NOT USE THE TWRP RECOVERY off of this Site unless you have a 2G/8G Device. Or risk a brick!
