RK3188 - Black screen? (seller asked me to flash/format android stick) HELP!

Hello,

I purchased a Android HDMI TV stick from ****:

The description claims that it is a Quad Core RK3188... I first plugged it into my tv and it worked for the first 30mins then it black screened and i have not been able to get it to boot since.

Things in installed - Google Chrome, Pandora

Now the seller is asking me to flash/format the stick but i have no idea how?

can you please direct me to the correct ROM and provide steps!?
current android version 4.4.2 (has WiFi and Bluetooth)
