IR remote keys mapping for RK3288

Have any way to keys mapping for IR remote?

I read tread about devices AMlogic, have any nice way for Rockchip interesting.

I have not tried this yet myself, but I believe it should be possible to use LIRC to map the keys.

The remote which came with my UBOX R89 worked for less than 1hr before it stopped working.

I just recently found a very cheap used IR keyboard from an old Phillips internet tv set-top box and I am planning to try using lirc to map the entire thing. It's a very compact, full keyboard with special keys for email, browser, home, things like that.

I do have 2 small Bluetooth touchpad/keyboards from ipazzport (one rechargeable, the other AAA battery powered). Those work well, but I think since the other is IR, maybe the battery life will be much better.

I will post back and let you know how it goes (if I ever get time to work on it, been so busy lately!).

I would like to change IR maping toi, because i'm using an universal remote, and I need more keys to use with kodi.

I find on an other forum somes talking of a config file in /etc/irsomethin.conf. but It does not exist on my device.
Now I installed the wasser rom, I will get a new try.
