Kr42 (old revision) weak wifi over mobile hotspot

Hi everyone,

i have one of the old kr42 using Wasser 1.04.

Everything, including wifi, works fine with ok speed while using the device with a land-line adsl or cable.

Now I'm on vacation and using a mobile hotspot or my phone to connect the kr42 to the Internet.

The speed is miserable though. I'm getting 0,75 mb up and down.

Using my phone or my wife's phone or our notebook with the same hotspot on the same spot gives me 5,2 mb down and 1,5 up.

So why does the kr42 fall so much?

i even flashed again but nothing... is really a riddle for me as the device works fine at home...

I solved it myself.

I was using wpa2 like i do with my home network.

using just wpa or wpe i get the normal speed.

so somehow the kr42 doesn't like the wpa2 from my hotspot.
