Please stop using solder on antennas and use standard rf connector

I take it you think its the soldering that is coursing the wifi problems with the ground shorting with the antenna where its soldered

If you watch some of the manufacturing videos it is the only thing done by hand and to me very slim margin for right and wrong. And if i wanted to change or add an external antenna an end user can do it with relative ease.

I know I hate it too. I wish they would come with external antenna and sma connector :P
