Just received my new TV BOX, about the model it's kinda OEM, but for more info about the MB I already posted in PCB revisions, so u can check it out there:
the problems are as follow:
1) it reboots after a while (probably due to the lack of a heatspreader);
2) graphic glitches;
3) miracast is very laggy, static image quality is poor and video playing is not feasible (just too much lag and glitches, tried with different smartphones: galaxy alpha, galaxy s5 and xiaomi redmi 1s, all of them had MX Player/MX player PRO) ;
4) browser not working;
5) google playstore not working (I can browse it but once I pick an app and select install but it won't start downloading apps);
6) remote is kind of useless, is there any way to remap it so I can have at least a play/pause button? tried with mx touch controls but the OK key doesn't count as "touch".
Is there any working ROM for this player? Iatm it has a kitkat ROM ver 4.4.2... but I won't mind downgrading it if the other ROM is working very well.
My use of it would be to watch videos (both from storage and streaming), retro-gaming (SNES, PS1 if it can run it) and miracast for showing my smartphone pics and videos to the big screen.
