regarding custom rom on m8n box

hi guys hope you can help.

i have an OTT M8N quad core box and ive just flashed one of mediamans roms to it. all is working well apart from the xbox wireless controller. i have got it working partially but the dpad seems to be mapped to system commands like suspend shut down. is there a way i can change this so i can use the dpad for my emulators and kodi. also the light in the middle of the pad keeps flashing its not a problem for me just be nice to get it light up solid.

    thanks in advance

Run dmesg from terminal emulator and search for vendor and product id. Then google key layout and put the layout in proper folder.

Use this for more details. http://source.android.com/devices/in...out-files.html

      Thanks for your answer.

I already tried that, but i think although you can change the behaviour in the keylayout files, e.g. you can tell the DPAD_LEFT to map to sth, the reaction to the scancode remains. So if you map this to left, you can move left, but the suspend menu is triggered immediately after that. I wrote about what i tried here:

If someone has any hint on maybe how to "remap" the system reaction to the scancode (here 704, which triggers the suspend menu), or to override it maybe with tincore, xposed module, udev rules, or sth else, i would be very happy! I am trying to solve this for days, and already thinking of buying a different box, but i think they are very similiar
