Which Android Player that Bitstreams DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD?

    Hi,

So I'm in the market for an android player that'll support H265 and 4k (for some futureproofing) but most importantly bitstreams DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD. For someone who has a home theatre system, having HD audio is a big reason why I have a decent setup in the first place.

I recently bought a Beelink RK3288 on the advice that this player will do what I want but alas no it doesn't. Had a hell of a time trying to install a custom ROM on the device and ended up bricking the thing so in the bin it went. Lesson learned.

After trawling these forums I get the feeling that all of these chinese android players have great hardware but shocking software, relying on enthusiasts to make custom ROMs for the players to perform as advertised. They seem to be too focused on specs that sell and not enough on actual video playback.

Or am I wrong? Is there a player that does everything I want?

The Tronsmart Draco looks to have the best specs out there at the moment but as always, the software is very patchy and I'm not sure if does HD audio.

I'm trying to convince myself that android is the way to go for a cost effective media player so I don't have to build a HTPC to get what I want.

Thanks for your help in advance!
