install Andriod back on my G Box Q

Hi

I flash openelec on my Matricom Q box Q. Now i wish to go back to Andriod, however i have tried using toothpick method to flash firmware, but working

Any ideas? please help

Try doing a hard reset in OpenELEC settings and then try the tooth pick method. Also, try placing your 3 files onto a USB pen drive and restore from that.

Which three files? maybe that where im going wrong? only have firmware

Is you firmware an img file or zip file?

Firmware was a zip file

I have just chatted to Matricom

They have sent me a link for recovery.img
And i have to copy this file and Firmware Zip file onto one SD that should work

Perhaps when you get your box restored back to Android from OpenELEC, you can post a description on how you did it, and where to get the correct roms. I am sure there will be others with the same hardware that would appreciated this information.

Yes i managed to restore my G box Q back. Matricom support email me a recovery file, which i copied along with Firmware onto SD card and using toothpick method restore my G Box Q back to Andriod platform.

If someone want recovery file please PM me as couldn't upload it here.
