It's so difficult to buy a tv box !

Hello I'm french and i just sale my Apple Tv2 I was use this for media sever Pc to Atv2 (infuse same plex) and xbmc kodi (addons) and finish airplay.
I see three box Android the M8 s802 or S812 - Tromsat orion r28 - Allwinner A80
but I see the rockchip rk3288 is very fast but I'm not perfect in android for custom and don't have launcher it's not easy.
I see in the kodi wiki the support of codecs arm android and the more stable is Amlogic s802 s812 for h265
for finish I want a launcher easy for my girl friend and a good experience for kodi and a more compatible to playstore for install apk french Tv !
I know the Amlogic m8 s802 is a good box ! What do you think ? Please I have a seller in french with support but just sell M8 s802 and i think the s812 is a more choice ?

It's not easy to find the right T.V. box, etc.! I have a Matricom G-Box Q and a few g-2's just male sure what ever you buy it's a quad.

I wish an enterprising staff member, here would list the top five box's and take a Poll as who has had the best experience...my personal belief is many manufacturers are putting these box's out for the fast buck without very little support. But then my only real experience is with Matricom, and that has been horrible.

I know I have before an Apple TV2 but I sale this there are not a good Tv Box but Apple make a good support and optimise the Firmware.
I read a lot of Android Tv ! The problem is the box run in Kitkat tablet but Google want for a lot of tablet run in Android L but I don't know if I buy one if are a upgrade for the Android L ? And kodi make the realise 15 and make Hevc 265.
And if I buy one and there are not support I' m alone !!!

The Razer Forge TV will be based on Android and likely to be the best android box. All these chinese boxes don't have great support and often abandon them in a few months after they've released new boxes.

I'll wait for the forge as it's basically a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 which I already own.

The M8S is quite expensive.
Could have gotten a RK3288 with better CPU and way better GPU.
Also with 16GB ROM, 10 second bootup time and 1000 Mbit ethernet.

do you have a particular device in mind?
