ODROID-C1...Micro SD to eMMC module, any advantage(s)?

Hello, Realizing the limitation is determined by the card slot, not the device plugged in to it, is there any advantage to a micro SD adapter to eMMC module? For example, data integrity, number of lifetime read/write cycles, etc.
Example of adapters and eMMC modules.

An eMMC recovery tool for same.

    Thanks.

I don't understand why you want to try something like this?

If you want to boot from SD you should have a look at

    but http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post289933
    and

Also you don't have an UART (at the moment) at the UT3 (t-chip pcb) to do any debugging (at the netxeon we know where to get the UART)...

BTW: I don't think that data integrity, number of lifetime read/write cycles, etc. is better than at SD because in the end inside they use all nearly the same...

I'm sorry, I left out the reference to the Odroid-C1 board(I'll correct the post). I wondered if there was any advantage to using the card slot adapter as it applies to those boards.
Thanks to Freaktab, I am familiar with booting the UT3 via SD card. Out of curiosity, I booted the Firefly Android SD image off a 4GB card the other day. The card I used was only class 4, so you can imagine how long that took to get off the ground. I will be including some larger and faster cards on my next gadget order.
I missed seeing that the C1 had an on-board module socket So my question is not valid anymore, as the module is certainly a better choice for me.
BTW I thought about posting this in the, IMP "Computer" section, but I was curious about this regarding the C1 not the U3. Move it to that section if you think that is more appropriate, or delete this thread entirely, as it no longer applies. I'll close it after I add the reference to the C1.
      Thanks for replying.

OK, if you only talk about the Odroid's, I think they also offer this adapter only to have another way without unplugging the module at the pcb to boot with another module...
