Weird issue with M8 box

So a while ago whilst trying to put OpenELEC on my box I had some problems where it wouldn't start and no ROMS would flash in Recovery.

I managed to get it back using the Probox burning software and a USB A-A cable.

Once, I'd done that I was free to flash any ROM I liked but ever since it will shutdown after round 10 minutes use. The Blue light is still on but box is off 2.4Ghz keyboard stops communicating, no display.

Anybody got any ideas how to fix the problem?

it sounds like your ac adapter to me try changing it.

Thanks, tried it with my FireTV one and same issue, only other one I had was rated 1A but tried it anyway and that seems to work.
