Maybe i am a RKM user, but finally it is all the same.

Oh! I forgot that with the very very new dts issue, i can only use the stock kodi, while my Vega s89 can use all Kodis that i want.

Maybe my nickname in this forum is "webnar".

Aber ich denke dort sind auch nur frustrierte rikomagic user....

What the hell?? No they are not the same. If you had this device it works pass through works and always post that kodi and logs of the issue you have otherwise your just being a WEBNAR.
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

You are right, modifying that one line in the build.prop of the new ts rom does not make the 1080p option available in youtube. However, it works on homlet v2. I will have a closer look at the weekend and let you know.

Hi Boxx. I just tried clearing cache/data and uninstalling the youtube apk and installed a known working build from a Galaxy note 4 xda post and even installed it as a system app and no 1080p option. Then I tried to edit the build prop to spoof as a note 4 then uninstall reinstall the youtube apk reboot and still no go. Any ideas?

              Rikomagic MK80 remote-fix

description and instructions on this thread.
use only on this rom (Draco AW80 20150318 firmware).
you need to install twrp first.
for some reason i could not install with zip installer, so maybe you have to navigate through twrp by hand.

I keep getting random notices to power down. I've had this issue with every rom with exception to homlet v2

Any idea if it fixes my two main pet peaves

1/ vertical smear in Kodi on video playback
2/ USB keyboard stops functioning after a while

I would just try it, but I have just flashed Lollipop and wanted to try that for a week or so before changing back to KitKat.

                    Thanks,
                    Mark.

                        Hey Boxx,

I have installed this rom and the USB keyboard issue is still there.
It is not a bluetooth issue because the mouse part of the keyboard works, and certain keys on the keyboard work, but do not type, they act as shortcuts.

This issue exists ONLY on the Drako box, my other Android TV boxes (three of them, all different models and makes) do not have the issue at all, ever.

The vertical smear is gone with this rom, so that is one of my two pet peaves taken care of...

I think i didn't get it right. Is it an usb, bluetooth or 2.4ghz wireless keyboard? If it is wireless, can you connect it by cable also?

                            Hi
It is a Logitech K400 2.4ghz wireless keyboard... wireless only...

I did try the Lollipop rom for an hour or so, and the keyboard did not malfunction, but sometimes it lasts as much as an hour... depends on use. If I watch a movie it will be working afterwards. If I open and close several apps it will most likely stop working. I have not seen any correlation between failure to work and specific apps or specific keyboard functions used.

Scarily Tronsmart seem blissfully unaware of this issue and also of the Vertical Smear which was happening on video playback in Kodi on the lower 50 pixels (estimated).

                            Mark.

Thats strange. I dont know a solution for this. The only thing i know is that 2.4ghz rf devices can conflict with wireless lan devices but that doesn't seem the case as the keyboard is at least partially working.

Am I the only person to get the random power off pop-up every 5 minutes or so?
