I never did the card but you might have to mount the card to see them, again just assuming because its bootable

Andriod TV - Leanback Lollipop Beta on Drako

So, first time at 5.0...

I try to use it by booting from SD... It starts but I get "Preparing Recommendations" and after a while a message [Unfortunately Google has stopped] where I can click [OK] with the mouse (but later found out that I don't have to click the [OK] because it close by it self after a while) and then I get "Recommendations aren't available right now - Check back later" and nothings happens at mouse clicks...

Yep, I get the failed preparing recommendations too and also get Google has stopped.

The great news is the keyboard is still working
AND
There is no vertical smear when watching videos on Kodi! YESSSS....

The backspace key does not do anything (it does function in Kodi however)
Right mouse does not back out either (it selects things like the left mouse does)
ALT-TAB does NOT show recent/running apps to tab over to as do the Kitkat roms
The only way to go back is to press ESC.

This is what is weird I have nexus player and every input I throw at it works! I was shocked at android's peripheral devices and somehow they hack it up addind USB drivers

Video plays great but I'm missing sound. Kodi doesn't back-up. Doesn't seem to like connecting via smb but will connect to upnp

I had same problem unplugged all USB devices and it worked.

My back-up app was listed as incompatible. Was yours listing the same then lit up with no problems just by unplugging all usb devices? Could you plug them back in? Already trying new 4.4. Seems better, no fuzzy strips anywhere. Should i try lollipop again?

The Drako does not output USB audio! This is a major problem for me since I use that to go to a Digital to Analogue converter which goes to my Amplifier... Now I just have (terrible) audio from my TV speakers.

Some of the apps like Spotify and Dolphin browser load VERTICALLY. Spotify rectifies itself when you sign in, and Dolphin rotates to be horizontal when you have opened it fully.

Google Cast does not work at all, my phone will not find it, and my phone will find both Chromecast dongles I have in my house.

It would be very much better if the ROM came pre-rooted.

bugs I'm finding

Ok I got sound back but I lose it when I plug in my webcam. My webcam has a microphone so I guess that qualifies as usb sound device. Also I have no usb3.0. xbmc backup still is listed as incompatible but I have been able to add the tvaddons repo with that I'm gonna try the maintenance addon to restore. I'm still having issues with smb but it seems to work when using zeroconf browser. It sees my nas but not my router. Will try to add the address manually soon. Lol it just paused my test video for no apparent reason.

volume

Volume is locked by Netflix and I seen some horizontal lines running across the screen for just a moment. No back-up in tvaddons wants to work. I tried the usb/sdcard wizard and it's script failed

PS3 controller with Android TV lollipop

It seems the PS3 controller cannot be paired with this ROM, not without Sixaxis controller software, and that only works with Rooted ROMs...

So gaming looks like it is a no-go at the moment... at least with a gamepad.

I'm actually using both hdmi and the 1/8" a/v port... I have sound when the usb webcam is disconnected

Nice. Got a Draco some days ago and now android 5 is out for testing. That was fast.


I'll check this out asap. Hopefully it works better on the Draco, then on my Nexus 7 2013. Downgraded back to kitkat, because android 5 was slower, drains the battery too much and had problems with some apps.

Anyway it is new and it needs time.
