The Rom you have linked to is for the MK908 which is an RK3188 device. The device you have is the M8 which is an S802 device. I would not recommend trying the ROM you linked to.

If you're looking for the finless ROM for your device specifically then you would want to use the one from this thread http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...EM8-Square-Box

There are quite a few stock and custom ROMs for the M8 if you look around on the site.

    look in this section: http://www.freaktab.com/forumdisplay...6Q-etc-Devices

To truly know what your box version is you would have to open it up and take a look at the version printed on the PCB.

Finally, flash at your own risk as others have bricked their devices by flashing the wrong firmware (sometimes even firmware for that device causes it to get bricked)

Thanks alot for the reply, I am basically looking a rom that has the stock look instead of the launchers that the manufacturers put on them, I also want to have access the the nav bar at the bottom of the screen so i can switch between apps and close them easily also, I will have a look at the links you provided. thanks alot for replying.

You're welcome. From the ROMS i've tested, the mediabox launcher does not seem to allow you to bring up the bottom nav bar, you may want to install a different launcher than the default one.
