4k contents

Hi,

Using Tronsmart R28 Orion Meta purchased at GeekBuying with the latest stock 111 k firmware.
Most media are consumed with Kodi 15.0 Isengard.

connected is a newly purchased Samsung 4K curved 55 inch tv.
I am forced to use the Samsung apps for Netflix and YouTube, but want to use my Android box instead.

Installed Ultraflix app, and tried to change to highest HDMI resolution. The box became very slow, and does not seem to have the capacity.

What is your experience watching 4k contents?

Netflix doesn't work at higher resolutions due to restrictions.

Whether it ever will, I'm not sure.

4k playback will be best in MX Player.

Consider Kodi to be a continual work in progress and you will find SPMC more suited to the RK3288.
