Bricked my MXQ S805

Hi,

i made a mistake by flashing a ROm for the S802 chipset on my device with S805 chipset.
Now it seems to be totally bricked.

It shows no picture anymore, when i switch it on. Only the power-led turns on.

Can i do something to rescue it, or did i screw it up?

Hi, and welcome to freaktab...
Well.. there are many versions of the MXQ... with the s805 chip
Do you have the one with `otg port' ? (bee-link MXQ s85)
Or the full black box.. without the "otg" port
or perhaps you could post a picture

How and what? did you flash on your unit
did you install any recovery.. zips? like cwm or twrp
Can you still access "recovery" mode? (using reset button)
Can connect the MXQ to a pc using Usb2micro (otg) cable? does windows See the MXQ?
Have you tried making a "u-boot.bin" sdcard ?

Hi mitchell4you, thanks for your reply.

I have the version with the "otg port":


I flashed via recovery a rom (Zip file) that was made for MXIII with S802.
After flashing, i rebootet the devive, as suggested from recovery.

Now, i don't get a picture on my connected monitor anymore, and a connected pc is not recocnizing the box, when i connect it with a micro usb cable (otg port and toothpick in sound port...).

Any suggestions?

I have the otg usb port and cant get this unbricked .. What pins is it that needs joined togither ? Or if the pc picks up the box i need to do that ... Not got the usb lead to plug in to pc get that tomorrow but have tryed the other things u listed with no luck
