Q7 XT-Q7V-V10 20140815 ROM LIST AND SMOOTH XBMC/KODI

HI people!

As you know threre are many different boards/pcb for the same device RK3188 CS918 Q7. For that reason I want to create a list with the ROMs for our specific board and then we can see which one is the best.


Q7 XT-Q7V-V10 2014-08-15



I tried different ROM with the next result:

Do you know other ROMs? Which ROM is the best for our XT-Q7V-V10? Also, Which is the best smooth XBMC for each ROM?

Very easy! just write the ROM´s file name without extension on google

I am currently with update_Q7_20141209
it works OK (sometimes I have to reboot to see a wired mouse)
it has XBMC 13 Gotham, I manually updated it to 14 but it has problems. So If you have this ROM you 'd better stick with XBMC 13
If possible it would be very helpfull to make a table mentioning "rom release date", loader ver, root , problems, etc

in mine box with this firmware some options are missing in display tab, also you cannot make the analog output bigger or smaller,
also some other options were missing from settings but i can't remember details, I only kept it for 10 minutes

I'm searching rom image from Hannspree Android Box SNNPB73B. This is fresh product from Hannspree and maybe its the same platform as XT-Q7V-V10...

I have touch monitor from Hanspree HT231HPB, http://www.hannspree.eu/de/monitors/ht-series/ht231hpb, but neither stock rom support that.
Maybe rom from Hannspree device has other features.

Root work, but I don't take rw access for system folder.
Doesn't work any mount /system app fromstore.

USB, resolution fullHD, sound, LAN network,touch screen with Hannspree HT231 work now.
Don't work Wifi, BT.
Below link to my kernel and stock kernel from last stable rom (14/12/26)
I based on radxa source for Android KK and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

Case how to build own kernel for cs918 with working touch screen in HT231 device is closed for me...
...but I can help if anyone would want to continue my hard work .
For example I have dmesg dump from stock and my compilation,

Now I have Wasser firmware k-r42 New 1.0.4 with my onw kernel.

Going to try this with my personal boxes. Shame we can't get wifi working with Wasser firmware. I've been away since December so I'm way behind on everything.

Looks like I didn't miss too much though. From what I can tell this is the best development yet for our perticular Q7 boxes.

I'm not even sure mine are 10v. I think they are 11v. I remember something about them being compatible anyway.

We have same boards but different sdram chips. your is ISDT mine is H5TC2G43EFR...

Hi! Anyone tested a webcam with those ROMs? I am currently running update_Q7_20141209, everything seems to work, but the webcam has very dark image (it is a Logitec C270 which works fine in a PC).

Also, I saw some posts abount installing Linux in the box... does anyone recommend this?

Chinchi....have you tried or do you know any ROM for our XT-Q7V-V10 with TUN.KO module compiled ? I would like to use a VPN app but its impossible because of that. I've tried downloading TUN.KO INSTALL app from Google PlayStore but no works!
