    Does anybody know this USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet adapter?

    I try to find out which chip it uses / is build in?

    Or does anybody know a cheap one (same specs) which use the ASIX chip?

      YES, I think it's the same like the kogan KAUSB30ETHA and that seems to use the ASIX AX88179 if I have a look at the driver installation...

      At Amazon at Germany they are always too expensive (>= 20 EUR and I think I don't need it really often and at the moment it's only an idea; I also looked for an Express Card with G-eth but at Amazon nearly only negative ratings (1 star) and also >= 20 EUR )...

            I have got it for my Pipo X7 — http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...hernet-adapter . It is RTL8153 based.
