noob usb question

I have flashed my ott m8 and now one of my usb has been disabled. How do I make it functional again?

My original firmware is k200-ota-20141113. When I try other firmwares one of my usb ports get disabled. Can anyone recommend the best workable aftermarket firmware for this m8?

would help to know what firmwares you tried so far and if you can get the version of the board by opening the box up. Also, is it an M8 or M8N?

I've tried most of the aftermarket firmware on this forum. Tomato won't work, Finless1.8 doesn't work, just me won't work. The rest I've tried so far disables one usb and has Ethernet wifi issues. I'll crack open the box later and take a look. M8

Any good aftermarket firmwares? Also if there are any wifi apps to Improve the crap wifi? Seems to be a clone.
