I have a friend looking to get one of these (www.nabitablet.com) for his girls for Christmas. He wanted to know what I thought and whether I could find anything about it on-line. I thought I'd post something here since you guys are "in the know" in the tablet market.
According to the site it is widely available at major retailers, just in time for Christmas. I think they are marketing it in a "Leap Pad" style. They claim it will grow with the child, etc. In my eyes the kid will outgrow the technology, requiring an upgrade to keep up with demanding applications, etc.
Honestly, I think they would be wiser to get a mid range Android 4 tablet and put parental controls, etc. on it. What think ye?
Snakey......I not gonna say it, but you what I'm thinking. Hahaha

Finally, a tablet that might be Snakekiller proof.

Hey dredpyrit, we were just having some fun...didn't mean to take the thread totally over. It was some inside joking between friends. Snakey has just had bad luck with his tablets recently.
For those looking for a child tablet...this one looks promising.
