Bootloop problem with UG802 and Finless 1.6

    Hi folks!

I've got a weird problem with my UG802:
The UG802 is equipped with Finless ROM 1.6. Works perfectly on my Samsung FullHD Plasma.
On another Samsung, "only" HD ready (PS42C450B) the stick goes immediately after a few seconds into bootloop when I try to start it on that TV. I've changed the HDMI-output (putted into the FullHD-TV) of the stick from 1920x1080p-50 to 720x576p-50 (I am located in Europe), but that doesn't help. With the original ROM the stick worked on the HD-ready TV.

    Any idea?

huh? I am using an external power supply, without PS the unit does not work.
All power supplies I've tested work fine on the FullHD-TV (yes, of course I've tested different supplies).

The firmware is trying to get EDID info about your TV on enabling HDMI. In this EDID listed compatible resolutions, may be reason is incompatibility with EDID, if no EDID info found it tries to use some default HDMI clock settings for unknown TV. (here You can get bootloop)
        1. Try to turn on your UG802 connected to TV but turn off TV while boot and turn it on only when You will be sure it already booted to launcher.
        2. flash the firmware again or make factory reset and connect on first boot UG802 to HD ready TV, may be it will get proper EDID on first boot.

          Thank you!

          1. I've tested, plugged UG802 into TV powered off, but after 5min of waiting I've only seen Bootloop-screen.
          2. I will try when new Firmware is out.
