Archos Arnova 9 G2 ROMs
Just found this site from the postings at ArcTablet... Looking forward to seeing the New ROM released hopefully today with Root. Hoping to see plenty of developers take advantage of the hardware - the device has a great build quality but I think the software is laggy and doesn't really take advantage of the processor. It will be great to see what optimization are possible when the custom ROMs start to hit.Tags: None

Hahaha. Good!!
My son loves it now and says it is faster than his Nintendo DSXL and DSi as well as his slightly dated original iTouch. I could have saved a lot of money if I had gotten the tablet sooner. My son also says a lot of the games he had to pay for on the iTouch are free at the Android Market.

I am waiting for a couple folks test my 1.3 ROM for the 10 G2. Once I hear back I will cook up the 7 G2 next.

For the G9 I only released 1 ROM. version 1.02 as I recall (the previous were buggy and for testing). I will release all my roms version 1.3 with all th elatest stuff I have learned today and this evening.
1 gig of space for apps
Full root with SU and Superuser.apk
3G stick patch from Arnova from the 7 G2 release
arctools links for hopefully an easier market install
All apps removed so you can pick and choose what to install. You should backup all your existing apps with EF File manager as it does not require root to back up user installed apps.
As far as it being faster probably not. Those tweaks are kernel changes and driver changes.

Steve, hang tight a little longer. I am going to build in the Market on my ROMs now. TOo many people having issues installing. While this will probably not fix the logon problems people have at least we remove a step in the process.
Going to cook one up tonight and have a few guys test it. If it works, All my ROMS will have it built in.

Steve, it is nothing to do with WiFi. It has to do with device ID's of devices registering with Google. I also think recently is has to do with IP range, location, country, and time zone! So it is not that easy. However, this is the cool part. Once you have that done, you should always registered after flashes from that point on.
