    It is not MSC device

I received it yesterday, plugged it in and it booted up fine, let me connect to WiFi and enter in my google details. It then proceeded to update from the Playstore and froze. That's the last time it worked. I have tried different cords, usb plugs etc. It wont even boot up now and I know I selected 'Allow USB debugging', but it doesn't appear to have worked.

I now can't flash anything because it is not recognised as being connected in ADB. I tried the short-out method but couldn't get that to work. I have the drivers installed on my PC, but when I try to use the Flash Tool included in the MX1 Rom download from here it tells me that there is no msc device connected (it does say 'Found RKAndroid Loader Rock Usb' down the bottom. I also don't know how I am supposed to see something on the screen as I am only connected to the PC via the mini-usb plug. Am I supposed to have it connected via the HDMI plug into a TV as well ? Not sure how I would do that and be able to short out the plugs.

Would really love some help please. I am going nut's trying to make it work. I'm not stupid, but feel like it at the moment.

    Cheers
I have exactly the same problem. My UG007 is only 2 days old and it will not boot, the screen gets stuck saying "R-BOX". I have tried to flash but get the same problem with the "...not msc device..." error dialog.

This is a simple fix boot logo loops
Download UG007 Stock Firmware https://www.dropbox.com/s/do9trduer2idkrf/update.zip and RKBatchTool from there https://www.dropbox.com/s/u2ce4lfx0t...ash%20tool.rar
First four steps from that post http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ll=1#post37843
      1. Open UG007 with small screwdriver
      2. Close pin with wire: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TFJZdDNMgE...ottom-dpad.jpg
      3. Insert USB cable on PC
      4. Install Drivers: http://db.tt/2Cm2KUV6
Then run RKBatchTool, choose UG firmware image and press recovery button. Wait few minute. Well done.

        Yrii,

        Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately I am having trouble with the update file. I have downloaded and the file several times and used different computers but keep getting "Load Firmware Failed!" error dialog when I choose the boot.img file.

Also when I unzip the update.zip, I get file overwrite warnings for some files. Is this normal?

        Regards

Sorry it was my mistake. You need to choose update.img from that archive http://yadi.sk/d/-O3fOB251h--R of course.

            Hi Yrii,

In the meantime, using your instructions above I tried a UG802 ROM that installed no problem. I had a usable stick.

After that I installed the iMito Finless Bob ROM.

            Everything is good now.

Thankyou very much for your help.

            Regards CJE

I've tried Finless 1.5 for iMito MX1/2 in UG007. Works perfect!!

                  Hello.
I UG802 and when I let it stay here:

Which should I join? I have a 2x2 connector. One smaller and one larger.

                  I need advice. Please.
                  Thank you.

I think you need larger connector. Compare this http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TFJZdDNMgE...ottom-dpad.jpg and your own photo
