PMID1000B:10.1in: Start-up screen

Just got the 10 in Polaroid in, charged and turned on......stuck on "internetablet" screen....have tried "reset", etc. still comes back to same screen. Anybody know what I am doing wrong? Thanks

You say you 'just got it'. How long have you let it sit? If it's the first time you've turned it on, the apps may need to be installed, which could take several minutes (possibly up to 10 or longer)...

You're not doing anything wrong. If the thing doesn't get to the boot animation screen, then the kernel's attempt to initialize the hardware (USB, camera, etc.) is failing. Get a new one - the hardware is probably defective. (If you're really stubborn, you might see if there's a stock ROM that you can flash in the unlikely event this is a s/w rather than a h/w problem.)
