build.prop for mk808

Does anyone have a modified build.prop for the mk808 that has the gameloft fix, and enables more apps to be downloaded from google play? There is one particular app, hdhomeruntv that I have bought but I can't download from google play and it is a protected app so I can't sideload it from one of my other devices. I see that blandrom for mk808 and infected and decontaminate roms have the gameloft fix applied already but I don't want to reflash just to pull the build.prop from them.

just modify the build.prop yourself with ES File Explorer. Its easy.

Change these lines:

ro.product.model=MK808
ro.product.brand=rk30sdk
ro.product.name=rk30sdk
ro.product.device=rk30sdk
ro.product.board=rk30sdk
ro.product.cpu.abi=armeabi-v7a
ro.product.cpu.abi2=armeabi

Make sure to backup your build.prop before making the changes in case you want or need to go back. Then reboot. Worked for me.

PS: Once you change this most apps will see your device as whatever device you just changed the build.prop to so be careful what you install, like scripts and stuff. It could jack things up because they may run different for a different device. So make sure you revert the build.prop before any other tweaking.

I would not change rkboard! That tells the system what kind of hardware it has and can cause serious boot loops or app crashes. At least doing that on a Tablet does!
