UG802 Power over normal usb

Hi all,

my mini usb broke off, so i tried plugin in my ug802 over normal usb A to A cable. It worked, device powers on, wifi working (i can install stuff over google play) but the problem is it doesnt recognize any other usb controllers (mouse) so that i cannot control it.

Does anyone have any ideas how i can either get mouse to work or connect to device over wifi so that i can start droidmote server on it?

My suggestion woould be to solder on a cable like many have had to do including myself!
