Would this post be in reference to the Polaroid PMID705 (non 'x')? I just bought 2 from BigLots for $69 each and was wondering if it could be rooted. I have searched tirelessly on the matter to no avail. I keep coming up with every other variation EXCEPT the 705. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!

Pmid705 installing market
Originally posted by McGee82 View PostThis all sounds awesome! Care to share how you did it?
I followed the instructions (1-3) in this thread
http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...light=pmid4311 for installing the market and android terminal, you might want to also grab root checker just to be sure it is rooted if you want confirmation on whether it is rooted or not,
after you install terminal, to set apps to move or install to external sd :
open terminal up and type "pm setinstalllocation2" and you should be there if you get a message with three options it will tell you what to type with a number after, it will look something like this on the first line 'pm set-install-location' then you'll see the options with numbers (0 1 2) next to them
so you would type 'pm set-install-location 2 ' 2 being the option to install to external sd
then you will want to go to app manager and click on each app you will see the option to move to sd card , some apps which are loaded by default from firmware will not have the option, market will not have the option either, but most of the others will, good luck

Thanks soooo much for this!! I will definitely be trying this as these are going to be Christmas gifts. I will let you know how it all works out. Once again, thanks for the time and explanation.
