    MK808 from Geekbuying Dead

Ok, this is my first device and I was really really excited to try this device out. I plugged in got about 2 minutes in and FREEZE! There wasn't a way to turn off so I powered off the my rack power and turned back on...and NOTHING! This unit will not come back on.

Are these things just POS? Or is it worth getting another one? If anyone from Geekbuying is on here, Please help me.

First of all make sure your power supply is providing power. Disconnect all the peripheral and try it again.

Yes I've tried that. It's a 5v 200ma charger. I do have other chargers that I haven't tried I.e. apple USB chargers? But the mk808 did power up When i opened it up. But now I don't see the blue light and I don't see anything on the screen at all.

Without anything (keyboard, mouse) plugged in the minimum PSU I would use is a 500ma. Im running mine with a 2A (2000ma) 5V charger and that keeps it going. A 1A (1000ma) should work just fine.

Yes I am using a the adaptor and it's just not working. Geekbuying.com hasn't returned my emails I've sent 3 now. I'm starting to get pissed!

            I am using the supplied 2000ma adaptor, I previously mis-wrote 200ma, it's a 2000ma psu that geekbuying.com sold me.

If you connect it to your PC though the DC or USB host will it power on? Have you tried eliminating the PSU and USB cable it came with?
