    Best supported Android TV Player

Hi looking at getting an Android TV Player

Main interest is playing off a DLNC NAS

Would also like to access 4oD/iPlayer

Been looking at XBMC, but from all my lurking on various sites the Mele A1000 is the only player that is actively in development due to the Allwinner chip support. However the boxes are quite expensive - almost as much as an Apple TV when you factor in shipping and customs charges.

Interested in the UG802, MK802 i/ii/iii or MK808, but not sure which is currently showing the best development in custom roms or default stability. Quite happy to use MX player to stream if it supports one or more of the hardware decoding.

Both my TVs have 1080p, would be nice to get that running, otherwise I may get a ATV2 and run a plex server until either Mele A1000 or Raspberry Pi get all their issues sorted!

So are any of the sticks worth using for media streaming?

Similarly and on a different note entirely, do any of these sticks run minecraft well? A friends son wants a portable computer to play at his dads and this might be a good solution

You may try buying Probox2 Ultimate. That stick has a quite nice performance.

Looking for a well supported stick with enough of a following to have regular firmware updates coming out (a proven track record) rather than what on the face of it looks like a generic stick.
