Compatible ONDA firmware for the PMID701i 13
As noted in multiple threads, the poor A13 model of the PMID701i cannot use many of the firmware options the A10 based variants can. However, there is an ONDA firmware that is more responsive than the ST version.
This ONDA firmware has Flash preinstalled, and comes with Google Play preloaded. No more hacking to enable Play!
The model that closest matches our Polaroid PMID701i 13 is the ONDA v610w Fashion, whose principal difference to ours is that it has 8Gb onboard storage, versus our 4Gb. It runs the Cortex A13 processor, and on my version at least, WiFi and G-sensor seem correct.

One word of warning, the firmware defaults to Chinese, and will be a PITA to switch to other languages, unless you can read Chinese or are not familiar with the languages options for Android. I don't read Chinese, but could compare the menu icons with my Android phone. Before you flash with Live Suite, make sure you find the settings and note the icon and location of the default language setting.
It comes preloaded with some bloat, but it can all be easily removed.
