Yes Bob I'm the same guy who used to flash my tab with your ROM "NextBook 8P SE - Ice Cream Sandwich - Finless ROM 1.2 ROOT and Google Play" and bricked my device.

If you were able to flash my ROM then your tablet is not AMLogic! You have a rockchip tablet! You cannot flahs a rockchip ROM to an AMLogic device. the flash tool will not recognize it.
So it appears they released yet another version of the 8 with more screen resolution!
Your problem is now we need the kernel for that version!
YOu might try flashing the kernel.img from either the 9 or the 10 and see if it helps!

Yep, you are rockchip RK29.
OK so go here:
Download the 9P ROM. extract it. pull the kernel.img out and flash it with the 8SE ROM.

also tried with 9P's boot.img | RK29xxLoader(L)_V2.14.bin | kernel.img but no luck,,, screen stay white until I press the reset button,,, again power it on,,,same process its stay at white.... any idea?Comment

OK dont panic. Now download the 10P or other bextbook ROMs I have and try each kernel.
That kernel wont work. But at least you know you can get back to what you had before.
Hopefully you can find a kernel that works. If not, your done until nextbook releases a ROM for you.
Since this is a RK tablet. If you can find someone with this we can dump the ROM easily!

I need only kernal.img or any other file with it? just make me clear few things, which file perform what, then I'm sure i will find something for this...

asdot, since you tab is different make a new thread please. This one is for AMlogic. I will help you in new thread.
What you want to do is use all the .img files from the 8SE ROM you flashed before. replace the kernel.img in the 8SE ROM kit with kernel.img from other ROMs. Lets hope we find one that works.

Need ROM for Nextbook 8SE with Resolution 1024x768
Yes did same as you said, but result after flash, the screen is show white with full resolution and stay white, no movement until I press the reset button.Originally posted by Finless View Post

The screen driver is in the kernel so sorry I cannot cook one!
Keep trying other kernel.img from other ROMs. Maybe we can find one!
Even if it is not nexbook there are MANY RK ROMs that have that resolution so maybe we can find a kernel.

hello, I have the exact same problem. I think we have the same tablets and did the same mistake.. I tried a lot of kernels and for example kernel from hyundai s800 has a good resolution but the screen is not responding and shows that my battery is dead.. If you find something please let me know, thanksComment
