I own 1 of the biglots unidens. You can use the 4311 restore it works fine.
The 4311 to me works better then the uniden restore. (stable).
I use the Cm10 rom on mine but requires some tweaking to get to it work correct with the uniden.
The apex launcher is broken when used with the uniden. I went to market got the ics launcher apk works the best with out all the hipcuping the other launcher. the clock on the lock screen is messed up think its a size issue. The cwm wont do a good backup it will crash the tablet. overclock is unstable so dont use it.
Other then a few bugs and a few stable issues its ok to use

would you be willing to pop yours open and take a few pictures? We are really interested in the touch screen controller which (at least on the pmid4311 and em543) is directly on the back (you don' have to take the screws off the board) and down by the the audio jack. (you may need a flashlight a magnifying glass)

it looks just like a pmid4311 board...

I bet they made the Polaroid and Uniden early in the year, then Emerson ordered some so they updated it or got a better deal on the different flash chip and touch controller

Using the 4311 rom works fine on the unden. so i think the hardware is all the same.

You gotta working version on clock works that will backup the rom with out the crashing ?

I am using the cm10 rom from here with cmw that came with the rom
