PMID10C~~ FRUSTRATED!! Help Please!

I really want to love these tablets, (there are 3 of them in our house) I know they can be much better than they are, the stock ROM is ridiculous!! I have tried countless times to get google play to work, I can get in moved to where it needs to go... but it won't stay connected if and when it does connect (it is GP V 3.10.10). The internet is slower than a laptop circa 1990. Netflix is not an even an option even though I finally did get it to download from Play... just won't load anything, not even the home page. Flash is an issue, I am aware of the whole Android not supporting Flash any longer but my ICS is still version 4.0.4 so it should still work, but it doesn't, when and IF a website actually loads. WiFi is intermittent at best... one of the biggest problems. (I live in the middle of nowhere, so router interference is not the problem there.)

Games play very well, all of which I have had to dl to pc first, but the tablets are responsive enough when playing games like Angry Birds and World of Goo...

I know this can be SO much better given the specs on this tablet, I want it to be faster, actually connect to the internet and do a search before the info I am searching for is ancient history. I saw that Elektrik had a ROM build, but when I try to download it I get a message "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below." Willing to try anything at this point... Like I said, there are three in my house (two of which are for my kids), and on top of that I have two others to work on (my nieces')... ARGH!!!!! I am at a total loss here.

This seems like it could be a wonderful little tablet, I am not bashing on it.. but I am used to devices that are, you know, a little more responsive and stable. I have searched the internet over, looking for scripts, etc.. but nothing seems to be out there as a solution to these issues.

Any help at all would be MOST appreciated!! I thank you all, sincerely, in advance!

Thanks so much Elektirk!! Sorry for the long winded rant last night but after dealing with these tablets for a week trying everything in my power to get them to run better and things just seem to get worse! As of today my daughter's "home" button does't work, worked fine up until now and I wasn't even working on that one yesterday... I just did a hard reset to see if that will fix the problem.

I will check your link to see if I can get it downloaded. Again, thank you sooooo much!

Update: I was able to download the file so I will get down to business with the flash process later. Fingers are crossed that this will do the trick. This is my first time romming an android device so I hope all goes well. The instructions seem fairly simple, and from what I have read by people who have used your ROM for the 700 models, it is a little piece of heaven.

As far as the Elektricity ROM goes, I have not yet tried it. Further, I understand that Elektrik does not personally have this tablet. And from the comments in other related thread, I don't recall reports from anyone that have used it (although owners of other models have tried it).

So my question to all is, has anyone tried the Elektricity ROM for/on the PMID10C?; if so, how is it working out?

And, Elektrik, this one would be a v0.1 still, correct? and you'd have some further goodness you could add if you got some feedback?

To asnwer your question-the ROM I've made is more of a 'modified stock' ROM-I wouldn't even call it elektricity ROM nor would I want to, since you aptly pointed out, I don't own a PMID10C. At this point, for the devices I don't own, I'm merely creating ROMS that have the basics (Google Play, Root, debloat).

As for people who have tried, yes there are a few, including one brave soul who actually installed it on his PMID1000B (I told him it wasn't a good idea and to wait until I made a modified ROM for that tablet, but he's running fine with it).
