Looking for help rooting an obscure tablet

I just got my first tablet and am looking to root it. The box/casing brand it as an XO Vision XTab XL. It lists Ematic eGlide XL Pro (not 2) under contents and comes with the completely defunct ematic store app, so this might go in the Ematic subforum.

I haven't been able to get the rom off it using the posted dumping sticky and I know I need it to do a request. Is there any way I can root this thing?

Thanks, but it didn't work. I've tried some more things and some random script seems to have given me root.

I can now get # instead of $ with adb shell if I type su. Trying to dump still doesn't work. "/data/rkdump /dev/block/mtdblock5 /sdcard/update.img" gives me "unknown image (55 42 49 23)". Does this mean it isn't a rockchip or some other problem?

Root check says I have root access. Superuser 3.0.7 is installed. What are my options for dumping to get something usable as a rom request?
