No blue light on the device.

Mk808B was working fine for a few days and then stopped working. No more blue light on the device and it doesn't start up. Then I connectedit to my pc and then flashed it aafter that it started working. Why this happens? This device keeps on failing and works after flashing. I am getting frustrated doing this every other day. Is this a ROM problem or hardware problem? Anyone have a solution for the failing device?

See this post where I explain about unplugging.

YOu are now considered what is called "bricked".

You will now need to flash a ROM from the PC. No other way.

I am very sure the power was on as the red light was glowing. Also, there was red light on the usb hub connected to the device. Just that there was no blue light on the device and it didn't turn on.

              Mr.Finless say :
              "Notes:
If you got errors using the PC flash tool, then you have some kind of USB problem.
              Some things to check:
              1) Make sure you connect to a real USB port from the PC. NOT a USB hub or maybe even front panel USB ports!
              2) Some older BIOS have a setting called "high speed USB". You may have to go into the BIOS and turn that off.
That was a crappy implementation of USB 3.0 that is not reliable.
              3) Try connecting to USB 2.0 ports instead of 3.0 if you have them.
              4) Try unplugging any other USB devices like removable disks, hubs, media readers, etc.
              5) All else fails, try another PC."

                Same issue with my UG802

It boots only one a day.

Next time it is not booting when the power is inserted again. Using the given wall adapter.

                Thanks

                  Hi
I have a similar problem. My Mk808 worked for months no problem, then out of the blue(pun intended) there was no blue LED. After a little research I concluded that it had bricked and decided to try to reflash to finless 1.6. There were errors during the flash but the MK808 worked, but only for a couple of days.

I have reflashed it to 1.6 and 1.7 several times now. Sometimes there are errors reported during the checking stage, but on at least 2 occasions no errors were found. After each reflash the MK808 boots and works fine but just the once. Regardless of whether i unplug, ctrl alt del or use the power off icon on 1.7(nice touch), The next time i start it up it freezes at the start up screen. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or if maybe my MK808 is dodgy, but any help getting to the bottom of it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, as every time I use the MK808 is starting afresh, it has made me consider backing up and restoring settings, apps etc. What would you recommend for easy quick Backing up.

                  Many thanks
                  Derek
