NEW Android mini PC from Archos

Looks promising, they'll show it on CES next week, and 130$ is not expensive since the controller is in the price as well

Archos makes pretty good ROMs (not Arnova though a subsid of Archos).

Cant tell though what the actual processor is though!

            First multi-touch Android on TV

Full touch integration to your TV with the Revolutionary TV Touch remote:
            • Pointer system lets you control your TV just like you would your tablet
            • Full multi-touch gesture support: control your apps easily with Zoom In, Zoom Out and Rotate thanks to ARCHOS developed unique gesture controls.
            • Full keyboard with Android shortcuts

wonder how touch is intergrated maybe bad piggies will play on this

system based on the dual-core Texas Instruments OMAP4470 with SGX544 GPU, it features a HD webcam, Ethernet, HDMI output, USB Host, Bluetooth 4.0 low-power support, (probably Miracast support), runs Android 4.1 and everything that also runs on Archos's latest 101/97 XS Generation 10 series.

Its not the first time someone tries a system like that to control a computer, but until now no one has worked well enough. Wonder if they will make it work and it will become popular this tiem.

It says in the spec that it has wifi.

The low consumption mode of bluetooth can indeed last 2 years without changing batteries dependent on use obviously, but low consumption bluetooth is only intended to pass simple messages, it has low bandwidth.
