Can I remap keyboard for rc11 air mouse.

I would like to remap my keyboard to gain the shift/function key capabilities of the rc11 air mouse.
I have read others have done this and would like some advise on how to do this myself.

Exampe shift/f4 is mapped to home

Yes, is the answer.
I was playing with this yesterday on my RC11.

You can either do it properly by following this guide: http://droid-den.com/android-guides/...ware-keyboard/

or cheat like I did by just editing the Generic.kl file directly. Probably best to follow the guide which I only found this morning. When I get a chance I'll try it myself.

BTW, not sure how to use the shift/function keys, but you can just remap the function keys themselves to whatever you want.

How do you map the delete key?

I want to remap F3 which is showing as keycode 133

If I replace the mapping with FORWARD or DEL I still get F3?? I know I'm editing the right file because the key I stole the code from that I commented out no longer works. And obviously permissions are correct from the results above.

I think it should be 'FORWARD' as we already have 'DEL' working on the RC11

Ah wait... I was using the KeyCode as the number entry to change instead of scanCode :S

I'm trying to turn on my MX1 from sleep here...

Using the above method I've successfully mapped F3 to FORWARD_DEL and that's confirmed working on it's own.

Even though the RC11 seems to have a wireless connection when the MX1 is 'sleeping' (the connection doesn't hold/ the led indicator on the remote doesn't remain on if it isn't connected), I can't get it to wake up as others have reported works on other wireless keyboards

Any one have any ideas?

Can you send me your generic.KL file you edited please?
Did you only change the F3 key?
Does the power button work on your rc11?
I find it difficult to remap the keys.
