Hey guys tried to follow bob finless thread to root my Virgin ug007 with the 1.5rom. Is there a guide somewhere or video that's easy to understand.
I downloaded and extracted finless 1.5romon my pc machine. I selected mass storage device and deselected USB bugging then I took out my USB dongle for my keyboard and plugged in my USB cable to the pc USB port. I have no sd card in and it's plugged in the otg port. I'm running windows vista. My computer dosent see the ug007 at all. I also tried it with my virgin ug802 device and my pc can't see that either and nothing in device manager in the USB section. What am I doing wrong?
I noticed there is a folder in the 1.5rom that contains USB drivers for the rock3066 chipset. Do I have to install these first? What am I doing wrong?
Also should i make a usb y lead up so i can still control my usb keyboard for the ug007 and plug the other side into the pc while hooked up to my hdmi tv?
Any help would be much appreciated.
