    mk808 rattles, when opened heat sink loose in case. Advice needed now to reattach?

    I noticed a rattle like something was loose inside my mk808. In fact there was, upon opening I found the e heat sink had come detached, What is the right was to reattach it?

    Not sure what clips there are(if any) on your model, but any computer shop will have a tube of heat sink paste that has a little adhesion quality to it. Do not use too much paste though. Tell the computer guy what you are trying to do and he should be able to tell you how much. They only cost a couple of bucks.

      If it is like mine, the heatsinks were attached with double sided thermal tape. You can replace that if you like although tape is not the most effective. If I had to do ity myself I would got to an electronics store and get 2 part thermal epoxy. Arctic Silver makes a good product for that.
