MX2 Sound Problems

I just got a brand new Imito MX2 and I'm having problems with the sound. There is none, most of the time. If I change the volume up or down I hear sound for just a second as the volume changes. I have tried tinkering with audio settings on the TV but nothing has helped. I also cant find anything in the MX2s settings that can help.

I haven't changed anything on it except downloading a few apps. Does it need updating, or would switching to the finless ROM help? Any help is appreciated.

Try a better HDMI cable. Sounds like it is having problems.

I played around with it some more this morning after I took my daughter to school. I hooked it up to her TV with the cable it came with and the sound worked fine. Then I took it to the living room and hooked it up to a TV identical to the one in my bedroom(the one with no sound) and again no sound. So I guess it is just my TVs, which suck because I wanted it in my bedroom. Oh well, at least the MX2 works right.
