Hello there I just bought a Polaroid tablet Easy 2 in ICS 4.0
Here is the model: MIDR47BPR001.112
And I want a custom rom for this tablet urgently
Can you help me?
It is already rooter?
I just managed to go into the recovery mode by pressing the volume button down and power button several times

Because the original rom I do not like really when I start a game I made back office

Hi Marcus-I think this is the case of the European Polaroid tablets being different from the American ones. Over here, we usually deal with the ones listed on this site: http://southerntelecom.com/polaroidsupport/updates.html...

I wouldn't say it's best forgotten, but I'm not sure your Polaroid is the same as ours-a different manufacturer holds the rights to 'Polaroid' in Europe, so it may be someone else entirely.

From a purely technical standpoint, what I could find on the device suggests it's an Allwinner F20 (similar to the A10, but not exactly the same). Without some sort of support image to at least take apart and look at, it would be very difficult to do any major customization......

but, do you think it is possible to completely root this one? maybe it is in a way related with the polaroids discussed... When I use the z4root, it gives the option to un-root, so i think it is also semi-rooted out of the box. Although, when using rootexplorer (paid version) i cannot change the system folder from read-only to read-write...
If only this should be possible, I would be happy

Have you tried adb root, then adb shell mount -o rw,remount /system ?
