Weird issue with custom ROMs and the 701c

Well I went to the local Books-A-Million to suck up some wifi. The first time I tried connecting was with the cyanbook Jelly Bean ROM, and it connected directly without asking for any login information. But yesterday I went there running Electrik's ROM version 1, and it took me to a login screen.

This is the first time it's asked for login information from any Android device I've tried. I know my phone(gingerbread) connects without the need to login, my old tablet which was running donut, didn't need any login page, but Electrik's ROM does.

It's just weird, not a big deal


On a side note, SwiftKey Flow beta is a great little app for a keyboard.

Are you talking about the web page redirects where when you log onto an 'open' wifi you have to log into the web page?

What happens is you connect to the router, go to their webpage to login. What happens with the other ROMs is it redirects me to a page saying I'm connected, but with your ROM it takes me to the login page. I'm using the same browser, to do this. That's why I'm thinking it's a setting in android that is different.
I don't know, just thought it was weird, but it's not a big deal
