I think fixed my IMITO MX1 random freezes

Here it is around 29 Degrees Celcius room temperature, It is summer and the imito doesnt like it.


OK so i got an imito mx1 and the device was freezing constanly, it was random,most of the time it froze while booting
sometimes it gave a black screen, sometimes it froze on the finless 1.5 boot screen giving some dots on screen, sometimes it froze while gaming or using chrome, it was random and with stock rom it also froze.


Took the case out, inserted some heatsinks and experienced the same issue, random freezes again. After some time touching the heatsinks with my fingers it was pretty hot.


I finally placed an 80x80cm pc fan sending air directly towards the heatsink and that took care of the freezes and the heat.


So i don´t think this is a problem with the wireless, to me its a problem of the heat and the stock speed of the cpu




after i have done this, it has not freezed again.
Before, it froze 50% of each time i plugged it in




so if you are in winter its ok, if you are in summer you better watch out cos you will kill it

this device is running at 1,6Ghz right? or it comes 1.2 from factory? i wish there was a tool to downclock this

wait a minute where do you see the actual stock speed of your imito mx1.?
i runned the antutu test and it says

are there imitos overclocked being sold?

are there imitos overclocked being sold?

this is an undiscovered strange thing. it seems that in same pack (more mx1s were inside) there were some mx1s, where the cpu is not limited. KIZS (kernel dev) I'd trying to find out what's the difference.

BTW we can confirm that, this can be true

nah its ok cpu Spy gives 1200 for cpu
