Using Smartphone to control TV stick

Great forum, been very helpful - thank you

Is there a way to control the USB TV stick (in my case the iMito MX2) with an android smartphone? I don't necessarily mean as a replacement mouse, but almost imitating the 'touchscreen' of the TV stick on the phone itself. That would be cool, and could make regular android gaming a viable option.

Apologies if this has already been discussed before, I did have a scan through the 1st few pages.

Yes there's droid mote on the play store. There's also an app made by geekbuying if you bought from there. Droid mote seems to have more features, but it is a paid app.

My iMito 1.5 ROM supports the RK Remote APP (Rockchip Remote) which is available on Google Play.

does this app work with the MK808B as well?

edit: Also, i have a windows phone (Lumia 800). Can i use it to control a pc stick?

If you have a rom which supports it, such as finless.
