    MX1 INTERNAL SD?

mine shows as roughly 2gb internal flash and almost 5gb of an internal sd card(what the hell is that?) Did the company save money by putting in 2 separate nand flash or is there an actual sd card inside? Anyways the sd card tests out slow as hell so I decided to buy a sandisk uhs-1 card to transfer my apps to only problem is the system will only transfer from the 2gb internal to the slow as hell internal sd card. rooted running finless 1080p rom

NAND memory is used by many things so you NEVER get the full amount.
The system files (ROM) use about 1 gig, /data or user APP space, your accounts, etc use up what I allocate in my ROM in the parameter file. So if you flashed my 2GB parameter file then subtract that from the total.

The REST of NAND is used as internal SDcard.

So this is perfectly normal to see much less than the full amount.

In apps to SD app you can't chose 2nd external SD? (Sorry I don't have an SD card to test)

On my phone the choice of storage is between internal and SD. You don't get to chose the internal SD unless the SD card is absent.

I think the OP is correct. This is a mistake with the jelly bean build. I think the storage conventions changed in android for this release (according to Devs I know)

Or am I getting confused here and the only way to save apps to SD is to use an app like apps2sd?

This is not a bug in ICS or JB and this is a constant discussion all the time.

Starting in ICS Google wants to change how external SD works vs internal SD. They want Internal SD to now be where APPS go etc and external SD is only for "media".

If you do a google search on this term
            internal sd vs external sd

You will see many topics about this starting with ICS as well as ways to "swap" them.
