DTS/Ac3 audio with MK808

So i ordered an MK808B of **** a while back and it turned out to be a scam, never got my device and so am thinking of getting the MK808 off DealExtreme.

My question now is does the device support 5.1 DTS or AC3 audio with the native player? If not will it work with players such as MX player?

Lastly how does XBMC work with the experimental hardware acceleration builds?

I just want to be able to stream full 1080P with 5.1 DTS to my TV/receiver. Planning to get a USB to Lan adapter so i don't have to deal with wifi issues.

No-one has got 5.1 sound out of these sticks yet. Some of the hardware descriptions I have read suggest that that may not be possible. Some are trying a usb sound card.

xbmc works great if you have it launch an external player like mx. Attached is the required playercorefactory that is needed to launch an external player.

Yea so far nothing for true surround has worked.

As for XBMC there is now a build that plays HW accelerated in XBMC no external player required. Look at XBMC forums android section for more info and the download.
