What is the root password to the 1.5 rom ? I do like to access root with external sftp and ssh clients with login as root and be able to write. Thanks

There is no root password. In a command shell you just type su and you will have root access.

Thanks Bob but I already done that, there doesn't seem to be any built in sftp or ssh servers so I install one from the market that uses it's own password so I get access to the device but no write ability.Comment

System is mounted RO in init.rc this is a safety feature.
To get RW you have to remount system as RW.
